Warren County’s shelters, except the two Basil Griffith Park shelters, are open during the ongoing tornado watch, which is scheduled to extend until 9 p.m. The shelters will stay open alongside the tornado watch — if the tornado watch is extended, the shelters will stay open, and if weather officials call the watch off early, the shelters will close when the watch ends, according to WCEM.

The Basil Griffith Park shelters are closed because the entranceways are blocked by high waters, WCEM Director Ronnie Pearson said.
