Alfords celebrate 10th anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Richard Alford celebrated their 10th anniversary on March 31, 2025.
Richard and Geynita were married by Robert Tarrence on March 31, 2015.
They have two children, Melanie Sanders and Misty Johnson; and five grandchildren, Thorin, Riot, Gunnar, Daisy and Oliver.
They are planning a trip later to celebrate.
I am originally from Owensboro and graduated from Owensboro High School. In 1994, I received a degree in print journalism from Murray State University. I have lived in Bowling Green and have worked at the paper since I graduated.
