Corvette museum announces new CEO

David Hill has assumed the role of president and CEO of the National Corvette Museum effective Monday, NCM announced, a move that the museum said in a release will bring “the strategic vision needed” to lead NCM forward.
Kaye Wagner, chair of the board for the museum, stated in the release that the search focused on someone who could balance “heritage and innovation.”
“David’s combination of business acumen, deep-rooted passion for the Corvette legacy, and proven leadership experience made him the perfect choice,” Wagner said in the release. “We are excited to welcome him to the National Corvette Museum and look forward to his leadership in the years ahead.”
According to the release, Hill previously served in CEO roles industries that include education, energy, manufacturing and technology. Hill is also a co-founder of the Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon, an annual race that supports the Oklahoma City National Memorial and Museum that pays tribute to the victims of the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing.
In the release, Hill stated that NCM “represents the heart and soul of America’s sports car.”
“I am honored to step into this role as CEO,” Hill stated. “As someone who has cherished Corvettes for decades, I deeply appreciate the history, innovation, and passion that define this iconic brand. I look forward to partnering with the dedicated team at the Museum to build on its incredible legacy, expand its reach, and foster a high-performance culture of service and innovation for our guests, members, donors, and Corvette enthusiasts.”
Hill was not available for an interview.
