Constituents being ignored

I have written to Rep. Guthrie and Senators McConnell and Paul multiple times, hoping for real responses on the issues that matter. Instead, all I receive are generic form letters that barely acknowledge my concerns from Guthrie and nothing at all from McConnell or Paul!

If they truly believe in serving their constituents, they should at least respond to the people’s concerns and fears. I’m concerned about how the proposed budget will cut Medicaid and how DOGE has already made government worse off. Planes are less safe now. National Parks can’t provide basic tours. Tax rebates are slowed down. Veterans services reduced. But there’s plenty of money flowing back to Elon Musk.

If the goal was to make everything worse for Kentuckians, you’re sure on your way.

I believe in the constitutional principles, like fair representation, checks and balances, and a government that works for the people. So why don’t my representatives seem to share that belief? If they can’t be bothered to answer real questions from their constituents, perhaps they shouldn’t be in office.
