JoJo Driver might have hit a bigger shot in his life than the buzzer-beating layup he sank to send Tuesday night’s District 15 Boys’ Basketball Tournament semifinal game into overtime.

Maybe, but if so he doesn’t remember it.

“Taking it back to like middle school, AAU – those really don’t count,” said the Glasgow senior guard. “Yeah, this is probably the biggest one.”

Driver’s layup in the final second knotted the score in an elimination game against Warren East at 56-all, and Glasgow went on to win 74-68 in overtime.

Driver scored a team-high 20 points in the victory as the Scotties advance to face crosstown rival Barren County in Friday’s championship game at Barren County.
