BOWLING GREEN – It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Timothy Ray Gore who left us on February 24th at the age of 63 to be with the Lord. Born on February 28th, 1961, in Bowling Green Kentucky, Tim lived a life filled with love, compassion, and dedication.

Tim Gore was a loving husband to Cheryl and a devoted father to Emily and Megan, and stepfather to Orrin and Camryn. He was also the most wonderful Papa to Ivy. His relationship with Christ enabled him to be a pillar of strength and a source of unwavering support for his family. His kindness, wisdom, and sense of humor touched the lives of everyone who knew him.

Tim had an incredible sense of humor that could light up any room. He had a knack for making people laugh, whether through his witty remarks, funny anecdotes, or simply by being his genuine, playful self. His laughter was infectious, and his ability to find joy in everyday moments will be dearly missed. A man of many talents, Tim Gore was Chief Financial Officer of Rivendell for 20 years.

He was known to be tough, but fair. Every decision he made was done because he loved Rivendell and was proud of the work they all did. He was full of wit and left a smile on every life he touched while working there. Some of the things that brought Tim the joy was watching the Green Bay Packers, the Louisville Cardinals, grilling poolside with his family while listening to good music, his many camping trips with the ones he loved most, and being surrounding by all his family.

Beyond his professional and personal accomplishments, Tim was a cherished friend and a beloved member of the community. He will be remembered for his generosity, warmth, and his ability to make everyone feel loved and laugh. Tim is survived by his loving family, wife, Cheryl Gore, daughters, Emily and Megan Gore, step children, Orrin and Camryn Osborne, granddaughter, Ivy Gore, sisters, Brenda Yates (Jim Yates), Sue Hendricks and Harriet Osborne.
