Warren Central’s Jarek Kirk is getting back in the swing of things just in time for the Dragons.

The senior missed some time earlier this month battling an illness, but made his presence felt in Warren Central’s 58-56 win at Adair County on Feb. 10.

Kirk provided strength in the paint, delivering a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds. He said it is nice to get back on track.

“It feels good to get my shot back and everything,” Kirk said. “I’m just trying to get my shot back after being sick. After being sick, it’s hard to come back and play a lot of minutes. So (the double-double) feels good.”

Warren Central is scheduled to host Evangel Christian at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday.
