Due to this week’s winter weather and in the interest of fan safety, Western Kentucky athletics has announced minor adjustments to parking and arena entry protocols for tonight’s men’s basketball game vs. Sam Houston.
Tipoff is still scheduled for 8 p.m. at E.A. Diddle Arena.
Fans who hold parking passes should plan to park in their designated lot or Parking Structure 2.
All other fans (non-permit holders) should park in Parking Structure 1. There will not be a shuttle service running from other surface lots around campus for tonight’s game.
Anyone parking in Parking Structure 1 should exit the garage on the Avenue of Champions side and walk down the sidewalk to Gates 1, 2 or 3 to enter Diddle Arena. Gate 4 will not be open tonight due to unsafe and icy conditions for fans attempting to get from the parking structure to the doors.
Gate 1 will be used for ticket sales and general fan entrance.
Gate 2 will be used for general fan entrance, student entrance and will call entrance for media.
Gate 3 will be used as a general fan entrance, as well as player-pass list entrance for both teams and any other will call ticket pickup.
‘SNOW DAY’ TICKET DEAL
WKU announced a ‘Snow Day’ ticket promo to tonight’s men’s basketball game vs. Sam Houston. The ticket promo allows fans to purchase $10 lower-level tickets ($15 savings) or $5 upper-level tickets ($10 savings).
The Hilltoppers are home for two games this week. In addition to Thursday night’s game, WKU hosts Louisiana Tech on Saturday night at 7 p.m.
WKU will be holding a student raffle at each game this weekend. Students who attend will have a chance to win prizes such as team gear, gift cards, a 65″ TV, JBL portable speaker or sound bar and a mini projector. Students who arrive at least 30 minutes prior to tipoff will receive five times the number of tickets.
