Hightower leads Cougars over Fort Campbell

Logan County senior Samson Hightower tallied a team-high 13 points to lead the host Cougars to a 76-32 boys’ basketball win against Fort Campbell on Monday.
Nicholas Thomas added 11 points and Nicholas Blann had eight points and a team-high five rebounds in the win.
Logan County (17-10) was scheduled to host Muhlenberg County on Tuesday.
Henderson County 63, Bowling Green 57
Host Henderson County topped Bowling Green 63-57 on Monday.
Joseph Hurt had 15 points to lead the visiting Purples. Luke Idlett added 14 points, Jace Wardlow had 10 points, Kadyn Carpenter added nine points and Braylon Banks finished with eight points.
Bowling Green (21-6) was scheduled to host Evangel Christian on Tuesday.
Hopkinsville 81, Russellville 46
Visiting Hopkinsville picked up an 81-46 win against Russellville on Monday.
Jamarion Gardner scored 20 points and Labryan Nourse had eight points for the Panthers in the loss.
Russellville (5-20) is scheduled to visit Ohio County on Thursday.
GIRLS
Daviess County 56, Logan County 43
Visiting Daviess County claimed a 56-43 win against Logan County on Monday.
Brenley Adler scored 20 points to lead the host Lady Cougars in the loss. Kyla Bilyeu just missed a double-double with 10 points and nine rebounds.
Logan County (14-14) was slated to host Muhlenberg County on Tuesday.
South Warren 72, ACS 62
Host South Warren earned a 72-62 win against Allen County-Scottsville on Monday.
Avery Morris scored 27 points and Aubrie Naiser had 19 points for the visiting Lady Patriots in the loss. Riley Roy and Debora Patrick had 12 rebounds each.
ACS (15-12) is slated to host Clinton County on Thursday.
South Warren (14-13), which has won seven straight games, is set to wrap up the regular season Thursday at Todd County Central.
