Barren County junior guard Kade Hardy found his shooting stroke Tuesday at Greenwood.

Hardy rained down a career-high 26 points, hitting six 3-pointers, to help the visiting Trojans claim a 71-65 victory.

Hardy’s previous career-best in a single game was 20 points.

“It was a fast first half,” Hardy said. “I was trying to find some air somewhere – breathing heavy. But we had a good speech at halftime by coach (Warren) Cunningham, kind of gave us some motivation to kind of take over and play our style of basketball and it helped us get a win.”

Barren County, which has won five straight games, is back in action Saturday at Monroe County.
