Lady Raiders roll past Russellville 79-31

Warren East senior Madison Lawson scored 22 points to lead the host Lady Raiders to a 79-31 girls’ basketball win against Russellville on Tuesday.

Lawson hit four 3-pointers in the win.

Sam Carver added 13 points, and Kennedy Lawson and Lydia Jones scored 12 points apiece in the victory.

Warren East (14-6) has won four straight games. The Lady Raiders are at District 15 rival Allen County-Scottsville on Friday.

Russellville (1-17) travels to District 13 foe Logan County on Friday.

Cumberland County 70, ACS 64

Visiting Allen County-Scottsville fell short in a 70-64 decision to Cumberland County on Tuesday.

Avery Morris scored 25 points to lead the Lady Patriots in the loss. Aubrie Naiser chipped in with 13 points.

ACS (10-10) hosts District 15 rival Warren East on Friday.

TCC 71, Butler County 69, OT

Visiting Todd County Central prevailed for a 71-69 overtime win against Butler County on Tuesday.

Ava Wilson led the Lady Bears with 19 points in the defeat. Bailey Moore added 16 points, Ann Marie Skaggs scored 12 points and Carley Cardwell finished with 10 points.

Butler County (9-9) is at District 12 foe Grayson County on Friday.

Metcalfe County 56, Glasgow 50

Kassady London scored 26 points as visiting Metcalfe County claimed a 56-50 win against Glasgow on Tuesday.

Jozie Allen added 13 points for the Lady Hornets in the win.

Reece England had 15 points to lead Glasgow. Karli Hagan added 11 points, Cynthia Austin had 10 points and Kayla Kirkpatrick pulled down 10 rebounds for the Lady Scotties.

Glasgow (3-16) is at Clinton County on Friday.

BOYS

Bowling Green 109, University Heights 65

Jace Wardlow scored 28 points to boost visiting Bowling Green to a 109-65 win against University Heights on Tuesday.

Braylon Banks added 20 points, Kadyn Carpenter scored 19 points and Luke Idlett finished with 13 points for the Purples in the win.

Bowling Green (16-4), which has won four straight games, hosts District 14 rival South Warren on Friday.

Breckinridge County 80, Butler County 76

Butler County came up short in an 80-76 road decision to Breckinridge County on Tuesday.

Justin Castlen led the Bears with 23 points in the loss. Ty Price added 19 points, Briar Griffin scored 14 points and Curtis Murphy tallied 11 points.

Butler County (11-10) is at District 13 foe Grayson County on Friday.

Cumberland County 61, ACS 47

Host Cumberland County notched a 61-47 win against Allen County-Scottsville on Tuesday.

Chase Ross and Robert Robledo scored 11 points each to lead the Patriots in the loss.

ACS (8-12) is home to face District 15 rival Warren East on Friday.

Metcalfe County 52, Glasgow 46

Cade Button scored 21 points to boost Metcalfe County to a 52-46 win against homestanding Glasgow on Tuesday.

Kruz Tucker added 16 points for the Hornets.

Josiah Driver scored 13 points and Jaylen Bradley had nine points for the Scotties, who have lost seven straight games.

Glasgow (3-15) is at Clinton County on Friday.
