BOWLING GREEN – Elsie Eardine McGinnis Hines age 94 of Bowling Green, passed away Saturday at the Greenwood Nursing and Rehab. Eardine was born in Bowling Green to the late Shirley and Marie Ayles McGinnis and was the widow of Porter “Pete” Hines. She is also preceded in death by her sisters, Louise McGinnis Towe, Christine McGinnis Crowder and Edna Mae McGinnis Alford and a brother, Tom McGinnis. She was a Baptist. She worked at Borders Milk Company for a year and the went to work at Holley Carb and retired after 43 years of service.

She is survived by her nephew Tommy McGinnis (Renee) of B.G. niece, Linda Towe Stamper of Rockfield. Great Nephews, Keith Stamper (Kim), Trey (Shayna) and Blake McGinnis (Shelby) and a great niece, Amanda Aspley (Jason). Great Great nieces, Riley Stamper, Lashley Cashion, Emory Cashion, and Brooke McGinnis, great great nephews, Cayden Cashion, and Tristan Stamper. Along with her faithful furry little friend Ace.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 12 noon Wednesday, with the funeral service starting at 12 noon at the J.C. Kirby and Son Broadway Chapel, with burial to follow in the Fairview Cemetery.
