Butler County senior Ty Price entered Tuesday night’s home game against Muhlenberg County as the top 3-point shooter in the state.

By the end of the Bears’ 91-67 victory, the UT Martin men’s basketball signee had only added to his lead in that category after sinking nine 3-pointers en route to a game-high 47 points in the win.

It was the capstone of a huge week for Price, as the point guard had 38 points and four 3s in a road win at District 12 rival Edmonson County on Friday, then followed that up with a 39-point showing (with seven 3s) in a loss to Battle Ground Academy (Tennessee) on Saturday. Price has connected for 88 3-pointers this season.

The Bears are on the road to face Whitesville Trinity on Friday.
