Radio club to participate in Winter Field Day

The Kentucky Colonels Amateur Radio Club will participate in the 2025 Winter Field Day Saturday and Sunday.
The annual event is designed to enhance emergency communication capabilities and demonstrate the resilience of amateur radio under challenging winter conditions.
This year, the Kentucky Colonels will operate from the Warren County Senior Citizens Center located at Ephram White Park, 885 Mount Olivet Road, from noon Saturday, concluding at noon Sunday.
The event is open to the public and visitors are encouraged to drop by and learn about amateur radio operations.
Participants will use various modes of communication, including voice, digital and Morse code to make contact with other operators across the country.
