Hudson paces Spartans past Lady Scotties, 71-39

South Warren junior McLaine Hudson scored a game-high 23 points to lead the host Spartans to a 71-39 girls’ basketball win against Glasgow on Tuesday night.

Autumn Gatewood added eight points and seven rebounds, and Averi Fugate finished with seven points and seven rebounds in the win. Jooniper Strow also scored seven points for the Spartans.

South Warren (5-10) hosts District 14 rival Greenwood on Friday.

Glasgow (2-13) is at District 15 foe Warren East on Friday.

Grayson County 54, Warren East 45

Visiting Grayson County claimed a 54-45 win against Warren East on Tuesday.

Madison Lawson led the Lady Raiders with 17 points in the loss. Lydia Jones nearly notched a double-double with 13 points and nine rebounds.

Warren East (9-6) hosts District 15 rival Glasgow on Friday.

Logan County 59, ACS 48

Reese Wetton scored 20 points to lead homestanding Logan County to a 54-45 win against Allen County-Scottsville on Tuesday.

Brenley Adler added 16 points, TaKyah Mason had 13 points and Kyla Bilyeu had eight points and seven rebounds for the Lady Cougars.

Logan County (8-6) is at District 13 foe Todd County Central on Friday.

Avery Morris scored 16 points, Riley Roy had 11 points, Allison Ford had nine points and Debora Patrick had eight points for ACS (7-8), which is at District 15 rival Barren County on Friday.

Boys

Daviess County 84, Butler County 77

Host Daviess County picked up an 84-77 win against Butler County on Tuesday.

Ty Price led the visiting Bears with 26 points. Briar Griffin added 15 points, Justin Castlen had 12 points, Trever Deweese scored 10 points and Curtis Murphy finished with nine points.

Butler County (6-8) is at District 12 rival Edmonson County on Friday.

Edmonson County 77, Metcalfe County 66

Braden Wright scored 25 points and grabbed six rebounds to spark homestanding Edmonson County to a 77-66 win against Metcalfe County on Tuesday.

Blayne Deweese added 15 points and Kollin Doyle had 12 points for the the Wildcats in the victory.

Edmonson County (9-5) hosts District 12 foe Butler County on Friday.

FCA 68, HCA 35

Logan Nix notched a double-double with 28 points and 14 rebounds to lead visiting Foundation Christian Academy to a 68-35 win against Hendersonville (Tennessee) Christian Academy on Tuesday.

William Cummins added 13 points and Mason Moore had nine points for the Falcons.

FCA (9-4) hosts Riverside Christian on Friday.

Logan County 66, ACS 44

Samson Hightower delivered a double-double with 25 points and 11 rebounds to lift host Logan County to a 66-44 win against Allen County-Scottsville on Tuesday.

Davis Switzer had 12 points and Jaxon Tichenor finished with 10 points for the Cougars in the win.

Logan County (6-7), which has won four straight games, is at District 13 rival Todd County Central on Friday.

ACS (5-11) is at District 15 foe Barren County on Friday.
