Little change in latest Daily News Area Top 10

Most teams hold in place in the latest Daily News Area Top 10 after a week of light action due to inclement weather.

Warren Central remains a unanimous No. 1, with Bowling Green locked into second in the boys’ poll. The two teams will meet for the first time this season on Friday at Bowling Green.

Greenwood holds at third, while unbeaten Clinton County is fourth. Butler County climbs a spot back into the top five.

South Warren, Warren East, Barren County, Cumberland County and Russell County round out the boys’ poll.

On the girls’ side, Franklin-Simpson is the unanimous No. 1 with Barren County holding in second and Metcalfe County remaining in third.

Warren East stays in fourth, while Bowling Green – which plays at Barren County on Tuesday – holds in fifth.

Cumberland County, Allen County-Scottsville, Todd County Central, Monroe County and Greenwood round out the girls’ poll.
