BG native Thompson the latest Hilltopper to enter NFL draft

Western Kentucky senior defensive lineman Terrion Thompson is the latest former Hilltopper to announce his intention to enter the upcoming NFL draft.
Thompson, who starred at Bowling Green High School, spent five seasons at WKU. The 6-foot, 286-pound Thompson totaled 75 tackles, six sacks and a pair of fumble recoveries during his time as a Hilltopper. Thompson announced his plans to enter the draft on his social media accounts Sunday.
This past season, Thompson tallied 30 tackles, a pair of sacks and a fumble recovery.
On Saturday, WKU linebacker Keondre Williams announced his intention to enter the NFL draft. Williams, a 6-2, 218-pound senior from Metter, Georgia, spent one season at WKU after playing five seasons at NCAA Division II West Georgia. Williams saw action in 13 games with the Tops and finished with 13 tackles. Williams had a 23-yard interception return at Boston College on Sept. 28.
On Sunday, former WKU defensive lineman Jayden Loving announced on his X (formerly Twitter) social media account he has committed to play next season at Wake Forest.
Loving, a 6-2, 308-pound redshirt junior from Hamilton, Alabama, spent two seasons at WKU after transferring from Bethune-Cookman.
In his first season with the Hilltoppers, Loving appeared in all 13 games with a start at defensive tackle at No. 6/4 Ohio State. He finished the season with 36 total tackles, including three tackles for loss and two sacks, two quarterback hurries, and two pass breakups. Loving recorded a season-high seven tackles at Troy.
A 2024 Phil Steele CUSA All-Conference Second-Team selection at defensive tackle, Loving played in the first five games this past season before suffering a season-ending injury. He totaled nine tackles, with 0.5 for loss. He posted a season-high five tackles, with the 0.5 tackles for loss, in WKU’s Sept. 21 win over Toledo.
