The 2025 Under Armour Next All-America match featuring 28 of the best high school volleyball players in the country took place on New Year’s Day in Orlando, Florida, with Western Kentucky signee Kate Rush joining the ranks.
Rush, a 6-foot setter from Georgetown, earned her invitation after setting career records in assists, blocks, aces, and hitting percentage at Great Crossing High School. She was named Ms. Kentucky Volleyball in 2025 and was also named First Team All-State in 2023 and 2024.
Leading her high school squad to four-straight district championships, she also led the Warhawks to a regional championship in 2021. She’s set to join WKU volleyball as an early enrollee in the Spring of 2025.
“What a tremendous honor for Kate and for WKU volleyball,” WKU coach Travis Hudson said in a news release. “She is a very gifted athlete who is only scratching the surface of what she will become. She has a tremendous future ahead of her on the Hill.”
Wednesday’s match will re-air on ESPNU at 8 p.m. on Friday.
