TAMPA – Rajni Parmanand Talreja, age 93, of Bowling Green, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, December 5, 2024. She was born November 11, 1931 in Shikarpur, Sindh, India the daughter of Chatrumal Chugh and Durga Devi Chugh.
Rajni was a lifetime educator. She did her bachelor of science in microbiology and after starting a family she continued to get a bachelors in education. She was a teacher while she was raising her children. She moved to Nigeria with her husband’s foreign service job and continued to teach And be a principal in a Catholic school in Nigeria for over 14 years. She stayed humble, frugal, and independent till the end. She maintained an incredible work ethic stay a devoted wife, loving mother and nurturing grandmother.
Rajni was preceded in death by her parents; and her loving husband of 35 years, Parmanand Talreja. She is survived by her son, Ramesh Talreja, MD/MBA (Samta); daughter, Gul Sahetya, MD (Dr. Kalidas, FSCAI/FACC); grandchildren, Rabelle Talreja, Karen Sahetya, MBA (Shanda) and Dr. Sarina Sahetya (David Pieschel); and great-grandchildren, Kaya Pieschel, Kallan Pieschel, Ayla Sahetya, Kavya Sahetya and a new baby boy born to Sarina and David Pieschel on December 6, 2024.
A funeral service, followed by visitation, will be held at 11 A.M., Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at Blount & Curry, Terrace Oaks Chapel, 12690 N 56th St, Temple Terrace, FL 33617.
