Greenwood makes the biggest moves in both polls in the Daily News Area Top 10.

On the boys’ side, Greenwood jumps five spots to No. 4, while the Lady Gators enter at No. 9 in the girls’ poll.

Warren Central, fresh off a 3-0 week, remains No. 1 in a tightly contested top 3 on the boys’ side. The Dragons received four first-place votes and 101 total points. Bowling Green is second with four first-place votes and 99 total points, while Butler County is third with three first-place votes and 97 total points.

Warren East rounds out the top five, one spot behind Greenwood.

Cumberland County, Barren County, Clinton County, South Warren and Glasgow round out the boys’ top 10.

On the girls’ side, Franklin-Simpson remains No. 1 with 10 out of 11 first-place votes. Bowling Green received the other first-place vote and is second.

Warren East holds at third, with Metcalfe County fourth and Barren County fifth.

Todd County Central is sixth, while Allen County-Scottsville and South Warren are tied for seventh. Cumberland County joins Greenwood as a newcomer in the girls’ poll, entering at 10.

This week’s voting panel includes Daily News sports writer Micheal Compton; Daily News sports editor Jeff Nations; Brian Davis of The Franklin Favorite in Franklin; Jay Turner of WCLU 104.7 FM in Glasgow; Don Meador of The Citizen-Times in Scottsville; Joe Brunk of Sporting Times Broadcast Network; Tyler Eaton 92.3 WFKN in Franklin; Kaden Gaylord-Day of WBKO; Chase Landrum of WCLU 103.1 in Glasgow, Cole Scott of WNKY and Samantha Money of WNKY.
