ELIZABETHTOWN – Geneva Lois Cassidy, 83, of Elizabethtown passed away Monday December 2, 2024, at Hosparus Inpatient Care in Louisville. She was born on June 1, 1941, in Bowling Green, to her parents, George Washington and Julia Ann Alford Glass.
She retired from Hardin Memorial Hospital as a nurse’s assistant, then continued her love for caregiving with Tender Touch.
Geneva was a strong Christian and a member of Heaven Bound Church where she used her gifts to perform in the choir and sang many solos. She loved her family and was very devoted to them. Spending time at her parents farm, visiting the mountains and having her feet in the sand at the beach, she considered these to be her happy places. She also loved to garden.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William Edward Cassidy; siblings, Johnny, Lillie Mae, Iva, Dorothy and Alene. Survivors include her daughter, Pam Clem (Timothy), siblings, James Glass (Marie), Virginia Jones and Irene Minton; grandchildren Dakota Clem(Shayla), Timothy Clem Jr. (Stephanie) and James Clem (Cassie); great grandchildren, Brennan, Amelia, LJ and Lydia also survive.
