Allen County-Scottsville junior guard Kyler Pedigo scored a game-high 21 points to lead the host Patriots to a season-opening 82-53 boys’ basketball win against Trinity (Whitesville) on Monday.

Pedigo was 4-of-5 on 3-point attempts and added seven rebounds and four assists in the win.

Jackson Morris chipped in with 16 points, and Chase Ross and De’Ante Grainger tallied nine points and six rebounds each.

ACS (1-0) is back in action Friday at Metcalfe County.

ACS 74, Trinity (Whitesville) 48

Avery Morris and Aubrie Naiser combined for 43 points, 10 assists and 10 steals to boost host Allen County-Scottsville to a season-opening 74-48 win against Trinity (Whitesville) on Monday.

Morris finished with 22 points, five assists and five steals. Naiser had 21 points, five assists and five steals.

Riley Roy added eight points for the Lady Patriots.

ACS (1-0) visits Metcalfe County on Friday.
