The driver of a tractor-trailer was killed Friday in a crash in Simpson County.

According to Kentucky State Police, a 1998 Freightliner was traveling on Cedar Bluff Road when it dropped off the left side of the road in the 1400 block and rolled onto the driver’s side.

The driver, Clarence Hoover, 32, of Scottsville, was partially ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead by the Simpson County Coroner’s Office.
