Warren East senior quarterback Dane Parsley made his final home game a memorable one, putting his name in the record books in Friday’s 50-27 win over Franklin-Simpson.

Parsley ran for 153 yards and six touchdowns to help the Raiders clinch a playoff spot. The sixth touchdown gave Parsley the school record for career touchdowns.

“It wasn’t just me,” Parsley said. “It all starts with the (offensive) line. They came out and did their job. Jackson McCool leading a couple of holes into the end zone, being an unselfish guy tonight letting me get that record tonight. I can’t be more proud of this team.”

Warren East will play in John Hardin to open the 4A playoffs.
