Betty Ann White (Massey)

BOWLING GREEN – Betty Ann Massey White age 89 of Bowling Green, passed away Saturday at 6:30 pm at the Hopkins Nursing and Rehab Center in Woodburn. Mrs. Betty was born in Bowling Green to the late Oren and Willie Jane Boyd Massey.

She is the widow of Dalton B.M. White Jr. She is also preceded in death by her daughter, Bambi Basham and her two brothers, Jerry and Bobby Massey.

She was a housewife and homemaker and a member of Pisgah United Methodist Church. She was a devoted wife and a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

Mrs. White is survived by her sons, Dalton B. “Buddy” White Jr. (Rhonda) and Dustin “Dusty” White (Jessica) both of Bowling Green. Grandchildren; Ryne White (Vanessa), Katelyn Raque (Sam), Macy White (Taylor Groce), Shelby White and Janie Basham. Great grandchildren; Juleyanna Huckelby, Allie Basham, Macon White, Morgan White, and Bella Raque. Several nieces, nephews. great nieces and great nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be from 9:00 am to 11:00 am Tuesday, with the funeral service starting at 11:00 am all at the J.C. Kirby and Son Broadway Chapel. with burial to follow at the Riverside Christian Church Cemetery. In Lieu flowers the family ask that donations be made to the Riverside Christian Church Cemetery Fund or the Residents Activities Fund at the Woodburn Healthcare and Rehab Center in her loving memory.
