The Warren County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after two people were found dead Tuesday afternoon in a house on Masters Way.

WCSO Capt. Curtis Hargett said that deputies responded to a call to check the welfare of people at 640 Masters Way and that two bodies were found inside the home.

Hargett said the two people will be sent to the Kentucky Office of the Medical Examiner for autopsies.

“It does appear to have foul play involved, but we believe it is extremely isolated to this location and there’s no danger to the public,” Hargett said.

Authorities were in the process of obtaining and executing a search warrant for the residence early Tuesday afternoon.

Deputies at the scene were entering the home wearing shoe coverings and the Warren County Coroner’s Office was also present.
