Janet McCay Martin

Janet McCay Martin has joined McCay and Associates Insurance as sales agent and marketing director.

After 30 years teaching English at Bowling Green High, Warren East High and in Seoul, South Korea, Martin is returning to the family-run business where she will work alongside her father, Auston McCay, and her brother, David McCay.

The elder McCay started McCay & Associates nearly 60 years ago while he was a student at Western Kentucky University.

David rejoined the business in 2006 after he served in the Army and earned a bachelor’s degree at WKU.

A BGHS graduate, Martin first licensed as an insurance agent when she was 19 and sold insurance while she attended Western Kentucky University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in English and master’s degree in education.

She later obtained her Rank I in education through National Board Certification.
