Wiseman awarded P.E.O. STAR Scholarship

Pace Wiseman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chris Wiseman and a 2024 graduate of Bowling Green High School, has been selected to receive a $2,500 STAR Scholarship from the P.E.O. Sisterhood.
She was recommended by the P.E.O. Chapter O of Bowling Green, which has been a part of Bowling Green community since it was organized in 1966.

Pace was a member of the Bowling Green High School swim team, lettering all four years, receiving the Varsity Letter Award and the Kentucky High School Athletic Association All-State First Team Award. She was presented the Academic Excellence Award in Advanced Placement in Environmental Science. Miss Wiseman was a member of Kentucky Youth Assembly, BETA Club, and was an officer in Bowling Green Girls Cottillion. Pace earned her CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) certification and she participated in the University of Louisville Health Emergency Room Shadowing Program. She is enrolled in the Honor’s College at Western Kentucky University majoring in bio-chemistry and Spanish.
The P.E.O. STAR Scholarship was established in 2009 to provide scholarships for exceptional women in their final year of high school to attend an accredited postsecondary educational institution in the U.S. or Canada in the next academic year. The competitive STAR Scholarship is for women who exhibit excellence in leadership, academics, extracurricular activities, community service and potential for future success.
