Warren County Conservation District honored at convention

- Accepting the Soil Stewardship award is Emily Perkins Sharp, chairman of the Conservation District.
The Warren County Conservation District was recognized at the annual Kentucky Association of Conservation Districts convention held in Louisville this past week.
The district received the Soil Stewardship award for its efforts in promoting conservation as well as being honored with the most informative display.

Penny Warwick was awarded Conservation Employee of the Year. Supervisor Benji Hudnall received the esteemed Cooperator of the Year award and Thomas Poole, agriculture teacher from South Warren High School, received the Teacher of the Year award for his involvement with Envirothon through the Warren County Conservation District.
