AUBURN – Jerry Haley, age 59, of Auburn, Kentucky, passed away Monday, July 22, 2024 at the Southern Kentucky Rehab Hospital in Bowling Green. He was born in Logan County, Kentucky on March 13, 1965 to the late James Andrew and Anna Mae (Price) Haley.

He is a lifelong member of Cave Springs Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and Sunday School Teacher. He also, ran the association for Bible drills for the youth.

Jerry was the General Manager for Casey’s in Brownsville and spent 37 years with Minit Mart. He loved sports, he was a huge fan of the UK Wildcat basketball team, the Dallas Cowboys and the Houston Astros. He enjoyed spending time with this family, friends, church family and was always cooking for everyone. He loved to give his grandchildren popsicles and take them fishing.

Jerry is survived by his wife of 40 years, Deborah Haley; two sons: Luke Haley (Bridgette) of Russellville, and Tyler Haley (Alicia) of Glasgow; his daughter, Erin Scoggins (Derrick) of Auburn; two brothers: Danny Haley (Theresa) of Auburn and Jeff Haley (Michelle) of Auburn and Seven grandchildren: Braxton, Brenner, Breelyn, Loran, Hadley, Dawson and Asher.

Funeral services for Jerry Haley will be conducted Friday, July 26, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. at Cave Springs Baptist Church in Auburn with Bro. Kenny Kyle and Bro. Tony McAlister officiating and burial to follow in the Cave Springs Cemetery. Visitation will begin Thursday from 5:00 to 8:00 PM in the Young Funeral Home Russellville Chapel and then on Friday at the Cave Springs Baptist Church from 11:00 A.M. until funeral time at 1:00 P.M.

Young Funeral Home Russellville Chapel is in charge of the arrangements. The family has asked that donations be made to Cave Springs Baptist Church. Envelopes will be available at the Funeral Home and the Church.
