Kentucky Sheriffs’ Boys & Girls Ranch opens for 49th camping season

The Kentucky Sheriffs’ Boys & Girls Ranch opened for its 49th camping season on June 10.

Camp will run throughout June and July, serving both boys and girls alternating weeks throughout the camping season. 

The Boys & Girls Ranch is a nonprofit organization, serving Kentucky’s youth through a camping program designed to build self-esteem, while teaching them respect for themselves, others and law enforcement professionals.

The camp is free to the campers, thanks to the dedication and support of sheriffs, members and contributors. 

Girls in attendance the week of June 17 were from Anderson, Boyd, Boyle, Edmonson, Fleming, Garrard, Graves, Hopkins, Lincoln, Muhlenberg, Ohio and Warren counties.
