Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in Alvaton will have its homecoming and 167-year church anniversary at 11 a.m. Sunday. The Rev. Keith Rowletts, Barlows Chapel Baptist Church, will be the 2 p.m. speaker. Lunch will be served. Peter K. Williams is pastor.

Commonwealth Quartet, Family Legacy and The Garmons will sing at 6 p.m. Saturday at Breckinridge County High School at 2019 U.S. 60 in Harned.

The Wilmington Celebration Choir from Wilmington, North Carolina, along with the Sneed Family, will sing at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Barren County High School auditorium. A benefit singing will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at South Central Baptist Association Building, 6448 Scottsville Road. Guest singers will be The Burdens, Beaver Dam; The Givens Family, Bowling Green; Odell Turner, Bowling Green; and The Turner Family, Bowling Green. Concessions will be available and there will be a silent auction. Donations will go to Jamey McCallister, pastor of Riverview Baptist Church, for medical expenses. The Turner Family will sing at 10 a.m. Sunday at Echols General Baptist Church in Beaver Dam for homecoming services.

Barber Way General Baptist Church, 1121 Barber Way, will have a gospel singing at 5 p.m. June 22. Martinsville Missionary Baptist Church will have homecoming services Sunday. Sunday school will be at 10 a.m. with preaching by Kelvin Copas at 11 a.m. followed by a potluck meal and singing by The Macedonia Boys. Todd Jones is pastor.
The Garmons will sing at 7 p.m. June 21 at the Gospel Nights at the Kentucky Opry in Benton, located at 88 Chilton Lane.
The Garmons will sing at 10 a.m. June 23 at Rough Creek Baptist Church in Scottsville for homecoming services. The church is located at 400 Rough Creek Road.
