BOWLING GREEN – David Michael Tooley, age 60, of Round Hill, Kentucky passed away peacefully surrounded by his family in his home on April 30, 2024. He was born in Tompkinsville, Kentucky on July 10, 1963, to the late Raymond Merle and Wilma Louise Hammer Tooley.

David is a 1981 graduate of Tompkinsville High School. In 1985 he graduated from WKU with his bachelor’s degree and was a proud member of Alpha Gamma Rho. He was retired from KABA Select Sires, and in his spare time he enjoyed being outdoors, camping, gardening, fishing, and being with his family.

David is survived his loving wife of 35 years, Tammy Lynn Tooley; His three sons: Keith (Mikayla), Kyle (Leanne), and Christian (Samantha) Tooley all of Bowling Green; a sister, Rayna (Doug) Page of Tompkinsville; a brother, Jerry (Debbie) Tooley of Tompkinsville; his father and mother in law, Roy & Linda Geary of Beaver Dam; a sister in law, Phyllis (Joel) Igleheart; his grandchildren, Oaklyn, Livy, and Madelyn; a host of nieces and nephews; a special appreciation to good family friends: Bo Berryman and Chuck & Teresa Forshee; and his best friend, his dog, Buddy.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2024 at Noon at the J.C. Kirby & Son Funeral Chapel on Broadway with burial in Smith’s Grove Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Friday, May 3, 2024 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm, and again on Saturday from 9:00am until the time of service.
