Makenzie Belcher, assistant marketing director of Arts of Southern Kentucky, said the series is unique because it offers a fusion of national touring productions and “our very own Ramsey Theatre Company.”

“Thanks again to Robert Ramsey for starting the Ramsey Theatre Company to fulfill a lifelong dream he and his wife had,” she said. “We are so happy to continue making that dream come true.”

Kicking off the series on Nov. 23 is Ramsey Theatre Company’s production of “Grease,” followed by the six-time Emmy-winning national touring production of “Dear Evan Hansen” on Dec. 12.

The series will continue into 2025 with the national touring production of “Pretty Woman” on Feb. 8 and Ramsey Theatre Company’s “Floyd Collins” on March 8, which commemorates the 100th anniversary of the tale of Collins, who, in his pursuit of turning a Kentucky cave into a tourist attraction, became a tourist attraction himself after he was trapped 200 feet underground.

The series concludes on June 28 with an “unforgettable classic,” as Ramsey Theatre Company presents “The Wizard of Oz.”

Belcher said the Broadway series has a dedicated following and the hope is to continue to expand upon that number “as we bring more great shows to SKyPAC.”

“Many people have to travel to neighboring states or cities to experience Broadway shows,” she said. “We want everyone to know that Broadway has a home right here in Bowling Green and that if you want quality entertainment, you will not have to go far at all.”

Current subscribers will receive their renewal packets in the mail this week. May 31 is the renewal deadline.

Belcher said that becoming a season ticket package subscriber “ensures that you have the best seats for these productions.”

Single tickets will not be available for a few more months.

Season ticket packages including all five events can be purchased online at www.theskypac.com, by calling (270) 904-1880 or in person at 601 College St.
