Glasgow’s Jase Cook wins BGT Junior Series event at Rolling Hills

Glasgow’s Jase Cook shot a 4-over-par 76 to claim a one-stroke victory in the boys’ 15-18 age division at Saturday’s Bluegrass Golf Tour Junior Series event at Rolling Hills Golf Course in Russellville.
Scottsville’s Barton Rutledge took runner-up honors with a 77. Bowling Green’s Layton Richey fired an 81 to finish fifth in the division.

Scottsville’s Peyton West (sixth, 84), Bowling Green’s Micah Page (seventh, 85), Franklin’s Alan Johnson (eighth, 86) and Woodburn’s Carson Smith (10th, 88) also claimed top-10 finishes.
Russellville’s Riley Shepherd (92), Bowling Green’s Garrard Sparks (103) and Bowling Green’s Turner Allen (109) also competed Saturday.
Bowling Green’s Adrian Bewley scored a 15-stroke victory in the boys’ 12-14 division after carding a 2-under 70. Scottsville’s Lincoln Zalla (111) finished third.
Bowling Green’s Ally Jean Stephens won the girls’ 12 and under (9-hole) division by 10 strokes with a 15-over 51.
Riley Miller of Bowling Green won the girls’ 14 and under division with a 32-over 104.
In the girls’ 15-18 division, Franklin’s Chloe Chaney was the runner-up with a 20-over 92. Auburn’s Emma Fitzgerald (fifth, 95), Bowling Green’s Mary Douglas Childers (sixth, 96) and Scottsville’s Ella Anderson (seventh, 105) also competed Saturday.
