According to the Bowling Green Police Department, police received complaints from surrounding businesses, leading detectives to gather intelligence and surveill two businesses – New Asian Massage, 1260 U.S. 31-W Bypass and Sun Foot Reflexology, 1901 Russellville Road.

Police interviewed customers and obtained search warrants for both businesses that were served Thursday.

“The goal of this investigation is to identify and help potential victims of human trafficking,” said a post on BGPD’s Facebook page.

Both women were arraigned Friday in Warren District Court, where Tang pleaded guilty through an interpreter and had her case conditionally discharged for two years.

Furong, through an interpreter, asked for an attorney to be appointed for her, and she is due back in court April 10 for a preliminary hearing.

She was released from Warren County Regional Jail on a $6,000 cash bond.

BGPD said it anticipates charges to be filed against others as the investigation continues.
