How to measure a man

My grandpa, who was born in 1883 and died in 1964, started a lifelong pursuit of learning everything he could about the holy Bible when he was saved as a grown man. He did this with daily Bible reading. He used a chart found in that first Bible by which he could read it through in one year.
By doing this, he could converse with people with knowledge about how God wanted his children to live. In our small community, he became the go-to person to see about all things Bible. In the Bible it says in heaven we will “be known as we are known.” That is what he was known for.
In the political arena, President Biden has been known as Teflon Joe and his family as the Biden crime family. Those unflattering characterizations are not widely believed because he has lived his entire life in the public and people know him. Everything he has done is the work of a servant, a Christian, and a morally upright man. He is not the author of confusion.
Our country used to revere the elderly because of their knowledge, life affirming work and standing in the communities, i.e., who they are.
The Bible says that it is not what goes into a man’s mouth that defiles him but what comes out of his mouth. This is what measures a man. When a man tells you, out of their own mouth, who they are, believe them.
