The Safer Kentucky Act – safer for whom?

This proposed legislation is WRONG and DANGEROUS in so many ways! How could 52 elected Republicans – a segment of the national party which stands for law and order, even consider legislation that is nothing more than vigilante justice?

Counties have sheriffs departments and at least one police department. This legislation strips law enforcement responsibility and accountability from certified, sworn personnel to any property owner possessing a firearm!

Contact your representative and instruct them that such legislation should be DOA! If your representative is 1 of the 52, send him/her home!

Ask those in the Kentucky legislature, why not strengthen the eviction and trespassing laws protecting the absolute rights of property owners rather than turning the commonwealth into the Wild West and creating scores of concealed, unmarked graves?

If this bill is enacted into law, the commonwealth will change several icons for which it is known:
