Passenger dies in Morgantown Road crash

One person died and another was injured in a single-vehicle crash that occurred Monday morning on Morgantown Road.
According to the Warren County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called at 9:17 a.m. to the crash site in the 6200 block of Morgantown Road, where they found a 1997 Honda Accord had left the road and struck a utility pole while traveling south.
A female driver and a female juvenile passenger were taken to The Medical Center, and the passenger was pronounced dead there, the sheriff’s office said.
The WCSO has not released the names of the people involved in the crash.
The Hadley Volunteer Fire Department, Bowling Green Fire Department and Medical Center EMS assisted at the crash site.
The crash occurred the day after another vehicle fatality investigated by the sheriff’s office.
At 5:51 p.m. Sunday, the WCSO were called to the 1800 block of Greenhill Road regarding a single-vehicle crash involving a 2017 Toyota Highlander.
According to the sheriff’s office, the Highlander left the road and crashed through a wooden fence.
A passenger, Kenneth Grizzell, 60, of Bowling Green, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver and two other passengers reported no significant injuries, the sheriff’s office said.
