It is with great pleasure and honor that I ask that all voters within the Bowling Green Independent School District to vote for Cierra Waller.
Waller is a dedicated public servant who has been involved in education for many years. She is currently serving on the Bowling Green Independent School District Board of Education, where she is the third African American board member after being appointed in January by the sitting board members in a 4-0 unanimous vote.
Waller received a bachelor’s degree in Medicine, Health & Society from Vanderbilt University in 2010 on a full academic scholarship and she received a Masters of Public Administration from WKU in 2012. She is currently the associate director for Student Success in the Center for Innovative Teaching & Learning at Western Kentucky University where she champions student success, equity and inclusion. Her work has led to several recognitions, and she serves as a board member for the WKU Alumni Association’s National Board of Directors.
Cierra is passionate about education and believes that all students deserve access to a quality education. She is committed to working with the Bowling Green Independent School District to ensure that all students can succeed. She is dedicated to advocating for policies that support student success, teachers, and families in our community.
Waller is a valuable asset to the Bowling Green Independent School District Board of Education. She is a dedicated servant who is committed to providing a quality education for all students. I fully support and endorse her continued presence on the Board of Education.
