Titan adventures a testament to freedom
The world grieved with the loss of all aboard the Titan submersible recently, as we should.

Even more sad is the growing number of voices in the media and government who wish to find blame. The blame is in the human spirit of curiosity and adventure. As long as man pushes the boundaries of what we can do, there will be risk! If society, or the government stifles our willingness to take risks, we cease to be a vibrant society.
When Amelia Earhart, and other early pilots went missing, we as a people didn’t look for someone to blame and sue!
When the space shuttle Challenger blew up, yes NASA needed to know why to fix the problem, but there was no demand that we stop “reaching for the stars!”
Every year, dozens of people die attempting to climb Mount Everest. But still more people go there.
The USA has been very fortunate not to have lost more astronauts in the “race for space.” Two shuttles and one Apollo capsule have taken lives. Instead of quitting and finding blame, we searched for solutions.
Some will say that the Titan was just a tourist venture, and maybe it was, but that is what FREEDOM is all about! Those poor souls signed a document saying that they understood the risk. Now, let them rest in peace!
