Firefighters answer alarms to residence, hotel

An article from the June 19, 1950, issue of the Park City Daily News reported three fire department companies responded to a fire in a refrigerator motor that caused a house at 522 State St. to fill with smoke.
The homeowner, Mrs. Ida Lucas, stated that the damage was small. On the same day, the No. 3 pumper company extinguished a burning mattress at the Earle Hotel at 1148 Center St. Damage was said to be minor.
