A 33-year-old man was found dead earlier this week from a suspected overdose and led to the arrest of an Oakland resident.

According to the Bowling Green-Warren County Drug Task Force, agents began an investigation with the Bowling Green Police Department into the death of the man, who was found Monday in a residence at Jacksons Landing Apartments on Ken Bale Boulevard.

The task force said that police developed information that Andrew Tate Cartmill, 25, of Oakland, had been selling M-30 pills containing fentanyl to the 33-year-old, whose name was not released by the task force.

Cartmill was arrested Monday, at which time 16 pills suspected of containing fentanyl were seized, the task force said.

Cartmill was charged with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance.
