FreQuency, a new band out of Louisville, will perform Friday at The Capitol at the last of the free Friday night concert series “Winterfest.”

FreQuency member Trent Shaftner was the lead singer, bassist and founder of the popular 1980s Bowling Green band, Los Juages, which was the house band for Jonny Lees and the Literary Club for several years.

Shaftner will take the stage with his wife, Mary Thom Shaftner, his son, Logan Shaftner, Scott Lankford and Ronnie Scharrer.

Doors will open at 6 p.m. and the concert will begin at 7 p.m.
