Historic RailPark & Train Museum to host Romance at the RailPark

The Historic RailPark & Train Museum will host the 9th annual Romance at the RailPark beginning Friday.

The fundraising event will feature a four-course plated dinner served on restored rail cars, live music and the movie “Purple Rain” played in the second floor museum theater.

A cash wine bar will be hosted by Reid’s Livery Winery and guests will receive a free keepsake photo.

Entertainer T. Martel will present a variety of R&B hits from the 1960s to the present in the grand lobby.

On Friday, dinner will be at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. and the movie will be shown at 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. On Saturday and Tuesday, dinner will be at 4 p.m., 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. and the movie will be shown at 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.

Reservations are already closed for Friday and Saturday, but are open until noon on Saturday for Tuesday’s event.

The event can be booked for two, four or six guests.

All meals include one appetizer selection, a dinner salad, yeast rolls, loaded mashed potatoes, green beans almondine, an entree choice and dessert selection.
