On Jan. 2, 1923, the Park City Daily News reported that the Reardon Building had been sold to the Kentucky Public Service Company. This change of ownership forced the Young Sisters milliners to move.

It also displaced Miss Nell O’Bryan and Mrs. Dougal, who had an apartment on the second floor. The building returned to a women’s clothing store in 1933 when Nell O’Bryan moved her hat and gown shop there.

In 1945, she sold the store to Jack Russell, who had a hat and gown shop in the building until 1981. In the picture provided by WKU Library and Special Collections, the building was occupied by Steers, Steers, and Link, and it is currently occupied by Edward Jones financial services.
