GLASGOW – Troopers with Kentucky State Police Post 3 are searching for a Barren County inmate who was assigned to work release on Hiseville Park Road.

Donald P. Shelton, 33, walked away from a work release on Hiseville Park Road just before 11:30 a.m. Friday. Shelton was last seen wearing blue jeans and a neon green Barren County jail shirt. A KSP news release described him as about 5-foot-8 and weighing about 135 pounds.

Shelton was jailed at the Barren County Detention Center on charges of first-degree wanton endangerment, fleeing or evading police first degree and bail jumping.

Trooper Timmy Jewell is in charge of the investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact KSP Post 3 at 270-782-2010 or report tips anonymously through the KSP app.
