Apartments built at 12th Avenue and Chestnut Street

St. James Place apartments are advertised in a 2009 edition of the Park City Daily News.

The Daily News reported June 23, 1913, that a new apartment complex was going to be built at 12th Avenue and Chestnut Street.

The St. James Apartments were finished and are still in use today. They have been renovated a number of times but stay full due to their proximity to downtown Bowling Green. In 2019, one of their owners, Mitch Wright, was petitioning for more apartment zoning because the apartments in the downtown area are full with people still looking for units available downtown.
