Auditions: PTK’s ‘You’re Still Here’ by Cori Anne Laemmel

The Public Theatre of Kentucky presents auditions for You’re Still Here by Cori Anne Laemmel.  The casting will be for child, teen, and adult actors. Children must be at least five years old and must be able to read and memorize lines. All ages (5 and above), genders, ethnicities, and skill levels are encouraged to audition.

The audition date is  Wednesday, February 16, 6-7.30p.  This is not a musical.

  • Mr. White-Mia’s teacher (adult)
  • Jade-Mia’s best friend
  • Chance – Mia’s best friend
  • Other students at Mia’s school

 You will be asked to do a cold reading from the script. Resumes and headshots are greatly appreciated, but not required. In an effort to keep our community healthy we update our policies as guidelines change. Currently, as we are in the midst of another outbreak, masks are required, and you must be vaccinated if you are an eligible age to be vaccinated.

There will be an activity fee of $75 for each child/teen in this production. (Sibling discounts available.)

Performances will take place April 27 – May 1, 2022. Thursday – Saturday performances at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at 3:00 p.m. School Day Performance April 27, 9:00 a.m.

This thoughtful new work, by Cori Anne Laemmel, centers on Mia, a young woman who has recently lost her father, and her uneasy relationship with her grief. (Rated PG)
