The Bowling Green Warren County Humane Society along with the Executive Committee of the Fur Ball have made a very difficult decision. Due to the cataclysmic impact of the Covid-19 Pandemic on our community along with our entire Nation the Fur Ball has been rescheduled to Saturday, February 5, 2022. We would like to express our sincere appreciation to Hill’s Pet Nutrition, Title Sponsor and German American Bank, Presenting Sponsor along with all contributing Sponsors for their support and understanding. The safety and well-being of our community is our utmost concern during this challenging time.

Covid-19 has changed our world so drastically, however, one thing has not changed, the shelter still operates 365 days of the year taking care of the needs of the animals that depend on daily care. Lorri Hare, Executive Director states that “we have changed our protocols to ensure our staff, our customers and our animals stay healthy during this trying time. Many animals are still entering our shelter, this has not slowed down for even a moment. Although donations have slowed tremendously, we are very fortunate that our community has stepped up and welcomed a record number of adopted animals into their homes. This has been an amazing thing to experience! Like everyone we are ready to get back to some sort of normalcy, but until then, we will continue to work tirelessly to save the animals in our care. Thank you to every single person that is making that possible”.
